My Psychology Approach
About me...
I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA. I seek to improve the quality of life and well-being of my clients. As a therapist, I strive to understand the people I see through a compassionate, empathic and non-judgmental lens. I see clients with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression and low self esteem.

My approach is goal-directed and motivating.
I like to support the client in achieving their goals whilst recognising and validating their experience. Sometimes our goals do not always align with our reality, and this can be disappointing and upsetting. I hope to bridge that gap in a realistic and supportive way.
As a psychologist I use evidence-based therapies such as:
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and
Trauma-Focused Therapy.
incl Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) & Prolonged Exposure Therapy
I constantly aim to provide the most appropriate therapy to the client in a collaborative manner.

I set up and facilitated a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) based skills outpatient group at Northside Clinic Cremorne. The program was designed to develop and apply communication skills to improve relationships and to cope with difficult emotions.

I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology, a Master in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (English) and Master in Business Administration (MBA).
I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
